The Windy City is one of the most well-loved travel destinations in the USA. You can take the time to visit one of the many shops across the city or splurge your pockets away over at the Navy Pier. Navy Pier combines everything you could ever hope for in an area of a city you’re visiting, and it has placed it right on the shores of Lake Michigan. There are shops, restaurants, boat tours, mini golf and a Ferris wheel.

You can spend time on one of the beaches by lounging on the shores of Lake Michigan or take in any of the famous history and art museums in the area. Millennium Park is a jewel on the coastline of Lake Michigan, in the Loop district of Chicago. Its most famous icon is probably “The Bean,” a giant stainless-steel sculpture that is also known by its official name, Cloud Gate.

The Riverwalk is a series of paths and seating where you can admire some of Chicago’s finest architecture, stop for lunch or dinner at one of the waterfront cafes, then take a water taxi or a boat tour to top off your afternoon or evening. The bridges and buildings are breathtaking whether you’re viewing them from the Riverwalk or from the boats, and you can’t beat the restaurants down there! It can be quite a romantic and aweing scenery to experience and revel in.
